The two heirs – Machi, the son’s king, doesn’t want to submit to the rules of tradition which force him to decapitate his mother in order to access the throne. He is speaking about this with his girlfriend when a scream is heard. The king is about to die, and Machi’s brother reproaches him for not taking care of his father enough. The two brothers argue until Megboula arrives and appoints the king’s successor.
