South Africa 1964. Thomas works as a gardener in a colonial house. The owner’s child loves spending time with him. The two look out for each other and develop a strong friendship. But Thomas has a painful past and a secret: he says that he can fly, and that he will show him so after he collects his wings from the dry cleaners. But one sad day Thomas disappears.
