A girl accepts a lift on a private minivan to go from Johannesburg to Messina to see the total eclipse. She’s hosted by a religious congregation that serves hen claws for dinner. She wakes up in the morning to see the eclipse but, at the crucial moment clouds gather in front of the sun. She’s happy anyway and even asks for some hen claws for breakfast.
