Visa request – At the French consulate a queue of people stand at the counter to request a visa for travelling abroad. Some people match the requirements, others don’t. A few days later two applicants discover that their request has not been accepted… it is this refusal which makes them aware of the possibility of making a life for themselves in Africa.
